Johan Steen has posted a Amazing article on color management, that if you consider your self to have even slight bit of a video enthusiast in you, you should read it. Its one of the many gotchas that plague the post production work and if you don't know how to handle color you will be left scratching your head when you actors are so red and over saturated they end up looking like the cast of Jersey shore.
